Avaruus - Selfmade Space is a tragicomic stage production where the absurd worlds of a housewife and an astronaut intertwine across time and physical walls.
The performance takes its inspiration from astronauts’ unique experiences in space. Leaving scientific reflections aside, it dives into loneliness, separation, the beauty of escapism, and the horrors of isolation.
The result is a piece of physical theater that draws from the extensive experience of the ensemble in dance, theater, and music.

Avaruus - Selfmade Space on tragikoominen näyttämöteos, jossa kotirouvan ja Astronautin absurdit maailmat nivoutuvat yhteen läpi ajan ja fyysisten seinien.
Esitys otti lähtökohdakseen astronauttien erityiset kokemukset avaruudessa. Se jättää tieteelliset pohdinnat syrjään ja työntää kätensä yksinäisyyteen, erillisyyteen, eskapismin ihanuuteen ja eristyneisyyden kauheuteen.
Lopputulos on muodoltaan fyysistä teatteria, joka ammentaa työryhmän pitkästä kokemuksesta tanssin, teatterin ja musiikin saralla.
